Mascara cake doesn't have to just be used on your eyelashes. This beauty of a product can also be used as eyeliner or eyebrow filler. It goes on super smoothy, doesn't clump or flake and can be used by people with sensitive eyes or skin.
Jane from Bain & Savon uses this mascara cake herself as she couldn't find a suitable mascara for her sensitive eyes. It's super easy to apply, you just used your old mascara old from a previous product (just give it a wash). You can apply as many layers as you want depending on how much volume you'd like to give yourself, just make sure you let it dry between coats.
To use, just dampen your mascara wand, and roll in the mascara cake a few times, back and forth, then apply. Repeat this until you have the look you're happy with.
Please note: clean your wand between uses to stop bacteria from growing. Homemade mascara should also be disposed of if found to smell different, strange, or especially pungent. It is unlikely and unusual, but all mascara does have the capability to grow bacteria.

BAIN & SAVON
Jane first started producing her own handmade soaps and skincare products back in 2002 as a hobby. What started off as gift ideas for friends and family quickly became a small business. In 2008 Jane was able to go full time and their little unit in Whitehaven was born. We've been and visited Jane so we know first-hand what an incredible job she's done.
