This plastic free shampoo bar is new to our range, and as soon as I saw it on as part of the Funky Soap Shop range, I snapped it up. Now, a lot of people may not have heard of the acai berry, but let me tell you how good it is for you. I spent some time in Peru a couple of years ago and I'd go down to the local market daily. A met the lady who ran the fruit and veg stall and she gave me a smoothy to try. The main ingredient was the acai berry and it's crucial to their beauty routine as it's so so good for your skin.

Grown in the Amazon, the acai berry helps to strengthen and repair brittle and dry hair. It contains zinc which helps strengthen hair from the root by restoring the natural oils leaving your hair silky and smooth. I'm so happy that I get the opportunity to promote this cherry-sized berry! We both use this acai berry plastic free shampoo bar.

Tip: use a soap dish to store the bar, as it will last longer that way.

Check out Charlie talking about why she uses the acai berry shampoo bar to wash her hair... and click the following link to see a demo of how to use a shampoo bar.

Funky Soap Shop is a small business located in the heart of London, dedicated to crafting high quality, healthy and effective skin and hair care products that will nourish your skin and be kind to our planet. Their mission is simple: use the power and simplicity of nature to cleanse, soothe, heal and protect your skin.

They have been making and selling handmade soaps from a small market stall for a long time now. During the last few years they decided to offer them to a wider audience and the company has grown from there. Now they have a small workshop in East London from where they innovate. All their plastic free soaps and plastic free shampoos are made from only 100% natural ingredients. They use pure oils and butters, and the cold process method to create the soaps and shampoos. And better yet, there is no plastic bottle.
